Crêpes!

Hello everyone! I know I haven’t posted a recipe in a LONG LONG time, but I have a good reason for this. I promise! Okay. 1) I was really busy (not really) with all sorts of projects and school. 2) I no longer own a camera to photograph whatever I’m making. However, I think you wouldn’t mind a crappy iPhone shot, right?

Anyway, I usually halve the recipe, so I’m going to write the halved version, and it makes about 4 servings.

You’ll need:

for the crepes

- 2/3 cup of milk.

- 1/2 cup of flour.

- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.

- Pinch of salt.

- 1 egg.

- 3 tablespoons of granulated white sugar.

- 2 tablespoons of melted butter.

for the filling

I usually use Nutella because I love it oh so much. You may add bananas, or nuts, or whatever you like.

Directions:

- Mix the egg, vanilla, milk, and sugar.

- Add in flour after you sift it and mix.

- Add in melted better.

- Use a non-stick pan (after it’s all heated up), and pour in batter (like you’d do when you make a pancake). Flatten it out a bit with the ladle. It takes practice if you’ve never made anything similar but you’ll get it eventually. I hope. Wait for it to brown a tiny bit on the first side, and then flip it, and add the filling, wait a few minutes till it browns on the other side, and fold. Serve on a plate (duh)… so yeah.

Happy Cooking!
