I never imagined in my life I’d say NO to cream cheese, but in this case: a big NO to cream cheese! The topping tasted awful and was just too gooey. Not too awful the next day, till cheesy, but good.

The cake recipe was good, really good. So there ya go. Confused.. should I eat the cupcakes because the cake tastes awesome or should I let it go because the topping tastes awful OKAY?
